Default Advertised NX ratings vs.TNT

Ive heard about guys running TNT kits that put more down than advertised with their jet ratings. Im about to be running an NX 100hp wet shot w/ a F14 cam and was wondering will i actually put more than 100hp more down like a TNT kit or are the NX ratings dead on no matter what you have done?

With my old cam-only setup, I put down 356 rwhp NA, 446 rwhp NX100 shot (no tuning involved, it was a baseline before we pulled the motor).

On Saturday, I put down 487 rwhp NA, 636 on a NX 150 shot with good AFR (first pull was 656, but a little lean). Seems pretty consistent to me.

In most cases I find the jetting to be very accurate in the case of NX.

The numbers can be affected by cam specs, compression and other variables, but NX is usually pretty close from what I have read... TNT on the other hand... I make 436/420 N/A and 576/590 on a TNT 100shot.

Update: Although my Mustang dyno numbers on the NX 150 wet kit this week were suspiciously low (408/475), I've driven the '99 car for a few days and it clearly has alot more power than with my 125 dry shot. In fact, I had to takeoff my 275 BFGs and put on my drag radials. No way my SLp clutch will handle the new power. Suggestions on clutches?

N/A 441 rwhp 403 rwtq
650 rwhp 660rwtq on 150 shot
Car in Sig. Got 209rwhp out of a 150 shot. But intake, exhaust, cam etc all play a roll in the power issue. Better flow, more power!

The TNT kits jetting is more aggressive. If you want more power out of NX kit, just run bigger jets.
