is 104+ octance booster Nitrous safe??
is 104+ octance booster Nitrous safe?? I know octance booster doesnt do anything for power but this says it raised 10 points which would be 94 octane for me.. I am having a little knock at 1 degree but it comes and goes....I think it may be false knock but I want to but a little boost in to make sure. I dont have access that 100 octane to mix since im not at the track but basically the question is does it contain METHANOL because it doesnt say......
Also woujld prestone fuel injector cleaner be solenoid safe(no methanol)?

Most boosters I've seen contain nitromethane or methanol but some don't. It should be disclosed on the bottle but who knows. I would order some Torco fuel additive or the NX additive (think it's called Chemicle X). Both are used by alot of nitrous guys with no issues. I don't think either of them contain any additives that would contribute to a swollen piston seal.

I do want to use injection cleaner however.... I suppose I could call the company and ask about it.
