Default Bottle Mounting

Hey guys this is my first post on LS1Tech.com I am buying a dynotune kit soon for my 98 z28 and I was wondering if there was any pics or advice on mounting my bottle. I want to mount it in the hatch right behing the seat, the bottle will be a 10lb bottle. Any help well appriciated Thanks Chris

i used a piece of wood to mount my bottle brackets, everything fit perfectly inside the spare tire well. looks bone stock with the cover on.

I got mine on the hump between the rear seats. If you do a search on this topic you should get a lot of posts with pics of the install. Good luck!

When the seats are up, you can't see the wires as much. Be careful, the gas tank is right below where you'll be drilling.

What precautions should be takin and any pointers on how to install my bottle where I want too I was thinking of cutting a 16gauge piece of steal mounting the bottle to that then mount that to the trunk??? The wires where do the go to couldnt u run that under the carpet and same with the nitrous line>>>???

I have my bottle mounted in the same position you are talking about and it works fine.

GoldZ I want to mount my bottle like that, I was wondering if I could cut my blow down tube right at the carpet then hook fuel line or a strong rubber house to the blow down tube and route it under my carpet to my spare tire well out of the car or how would I go about routing my blow down tube???

I'm sure you could make that work. Just use large diameter high pressure tubing.
