NX MAF KIT vs TNT F1/F2 MAF?
Right now I'm trying to decide which kit to go with. I want to make the most power as possible. What jets would be possible for me? Motor is fully built Diamond Forged pistons / Eagle rods. Will the MAF work with a 85mm SLP MAS? I tried to search but couldn't find the answer. I'm trying to decide what kit will make the most power and be the safiest for my setup.

also chect out the new nos WET LS1 throttle body plate system (part # 05168nos), go to holley.com click on NOS products. summit is selling it for $600
This system looks nice and neat unlike the bulky TNT power ring kit i used to have. Dont get me wrong the LS1 TNT system worked 100% perfect and made a ton of power i was spraying a 150 HP shot and the car pulled real hard, i just did not like the noids and lines out in the open that much,
the NX mass air system is suspose to be a great kit too, I love the new 85MM kit that they have for the C6 vette , i have a SLP 85mm mass air on my car but dont know if the one that comes with the NX kit will work on a LS1 , it is made for a LS2.
These kits are nice but over priced
So take a look a the New NOS Plate system,

Everyone knows the NX MAF is it. LOL Just kidding...... So chill everyone... Now back to the post... MAF vs Ring. Just look at the install pictures and ask your self which do I like.. See both companies can put enough power into an engine to put the crank on the ground.. I would recommend you start at 100hp and work your way up..
So if you go with the maf kit you will not be disappointed, and with the ring you will be fine, you may need a hammer to install it but once on your good...
I would rate the kits best to not the best.
NX, TNT, ZEX, Dynotune, NOS, Edelbrock, Compucar, Nitrousworks,
Now there are about 20 companies total got tired of typing.

If "the most power" is your goal I would recommend switching back to the 3-piece style MAF housing and using the NX system. The system that we have for the 3-piece MAF housing is capable of two stages with 250hp on each stage, that's 500hp to the wheels total! I have even seen a guy that got 300hp out of one of the stages using additional jets that don't normally come with the system. What little performance you lose in the size of the MAF you will definately more than make up for with the nitrous system.

I thought we were allways bashed for making too much power.. Anyways do some research in previous threads and results customers have had with there kits, your answer will be apparent.. Thanks David@TNT

HP is all in the jetting. Dont get caught up in the misleading information. Pick a quality system based off of the build of the system and the reputation of the company. The HP will be determained by the size fuel and nitrous jets that are in the nozzle. Personally If I put a 150 shot in there thats what I expect. If my set up and fuel system can handle more Ill just put the CORRECT jets needed in nozzle.

The 3-peice MAF system already has the needed holes for a second stage, but they are plugged when you get it. All you have to do is order the Dual Stage conversion (part number NXMAF-DS). The conversion includes a set of solenoids, hoses, fittings, and jetting.
