The new 408 getting NX: FINALLY!!! Progress First thanks to Nitro Dave and NXRicky mainly. You guys were so patient with me as the summer unfolded. This project was supposed to go on my old LS1...but wipe out cam bearings gave me the opportunity to have LME, Houston build me a Nitrous ready 408. I even gave someone else a shot at the new noids I won from NX since I didn't think i'd get this far this fast!!! THat's okay. I have some nice new NX solenoids being installed right now and i'm quite happy. Here are a few photos...wiring and lines coming this week. The 860 Performance rear tire well mount is excellent. I'll add more photos...
The motor:
Me and Xfarctoroutlaw form the Corral. The Screaming Yellow Cobra makes about 530 HP and equal torque. I make about 75 less w/o the NX...with the NX MAF i should be at approx 600 HP. My garage is now tainted.

The car looks killer Macon, and it came around really fast. It's amazing what can happen with a little help from friends. I look forward to seeing a dyno graph and some time slips when you get them.

Undated progress: Gauges, NX switch panel, wired bottle opener/heater 
Anyway the good stuff will be completed Sunday...have 3 filled bottles and ready for the dyno next week . I do have the blow down tube almost ready...have to add a bend and 6 inches to the tube and we are good to go through the gromet in the bottom of the spare.
