Default Dave....Solenoid info please :)

Dave, I am currently running a 5177, split for two stages. Went to the track, and one noid is leaking...had other issues from it before. I am looking into getting a replacement, but dont want to use a MONDO noid. I seen the NX15100, .063" orifice new NX Noid and need to know, how much flow is this capable of? I am hoping it caps somewhere around 125-175, so I dont have to mess with jets Call me lazy, or crazy.... If this noid flows in my range will be ordering it tomorrow morning so I can hit both stages next w/e. Thanks.

Cat, the powershot has an orifice of approxamtly .071 which is rated for 175hp (some say they are limited to 150hp, but that is in redundancy, a flow restriction). A .063 should be good for 150hp, so no problems. Let me know if the NOS and NX noids get along and play together correctly.

Robert, thanks for the info. Now, what I really need is a noid rated to flow ~200. I have some ideas I am playing with in my head. Kwik change noids, jetless systems, shorter lines/longer lines etc..

Robert, do you have any idea how much dry nitrous a 347 can inhale before it starts to puke out the filterless lid opening? I dont run a filter since the first time I ran dry I froze the filter SOLID! I cant wait to get back out and hit more juice now. Confidence is at an all time high....Need to keep the cockiness in check so I dont mess something up, like forgetting to retard some ignition or something

Well, it may have been a nozzle placement issue, but hitting the filter with nitrous proved to be freezing. My filter was solid by the time the run was over.

Holy hell how was it freezing? Were the jets mounted in typical 5177 fashion or otherwise?

No, this was a different placement, at that time I didnt have the 5177. Since then, I just pull the filter and spray the bastard.

That's why we spray after the filter and not directly at it. a buddy placed his nozzles poiting directly at the cheap vararam filter, and froze it and blew two holes in it. He then mounted nozzle as rec.

The 063 15100 from NX is good up to 200 hp. They will flow more than 150.00. We have these instock. WE will be closed the first part of the morning but will be back open after lunch. Let me know if you need one sent out. We have them in stock.

OK I got alittle confused on that. NX claims there Hitman kit will flow 200 HP. They come with the 063 nitrous solenoid.
Now after calling and talking to Radle today he said the 063 will flow between 150 to 187 max flow.. So now Im alittle confused??????
