nitrous questions this is my older brothers account...i just bought a 2001 z from him has SLP Lid and SLP loudmouthII and im wanting to do nitrous i could ask him but im trying to keep it a secret so i can race him...neways..i was wondering wut i would need besides the kit itself..i have everything but the bottle opener and i was wondering if i should go wet or dry and if im gonna need to upgrade anything???thanx alot guys

You are going to get many varying opinions on the wet or dry thing from people on this forum. Me personally, I prefer wet systems and could go on for hours about why, but those reasons may not suite your needs. If you would like to discuss wet systems more in dept I would be more than happy to help.
As far as other parts to get besides the system. I highly recommend getting a window switch, as well as pressure gauge, heater, purge, and a fuel pressure safety switch. Some don't think the fuel pressure safety switch is worth it, but I feel they do exactly what they are supposed to do, which is safe the motor in the event there is a dramatic drop in fuel pressure. In fact I had a NX rep tell me just the other day that they had an alcohol car on the dyno (putting down over 1000hp) and the fuel pump took a dump on them, the fuel pressure safety switch cut the nitrous system off and saved a very expensive motor.

thanx alot man...the kit **** with all that..dont know bout the saftey switch but it has all the rest..and with my small list of mods will i need to upgrade the fuel pump,injectors or get my car tuned??

well i bout a kit...its nos brand...got 15lb bottle the whole kit and can either be wet or dry..has purge hearter all the mouting equipment lots of lines and hoses...5 different solennoids and like 9 different jets..paid 200 all i need is a remote bottle opener...its adjustable up to 500 shot...lol
You can not beet 200 dollars as long as its all there. Let me know if you need any tech help with it. For the remote opener I would suggest going with a machanical style opener.
