Default 02 Z06 Nitrous Setups

If you have a nitrous system for my car please email me minytrker@sc.rr.com.
I am looking for something besides putting a nozzle in my cold air intake.

Absolute Z06 kit, none that I am aware of. We do have the PRO Dry and PRO Wet kits speced for the lsx/vette/f-bodys, and have sold many to Z06 guys. Check my web site for install pics. If I can help let me know, as I have a lot of on hands with the Z06 and nitrous. Check my times out, and more to come.

Not a vette conassur I( I would like to own one.) on anything but our install vehilce that we wrote the instruction for was 02 vette.
Now so far I have seen vette sensor called 80-85-90 and everyone I have inhouse Measures the same at the sensor metal area.
So far I have not found any 1 peice GM design maf units that this assembley does not work on.
I know we may to tweek the noids placement a bit on some vehicle but that may be in the near future..might even add a purge to the set up or at least the hole for it.

For the cleanest and simplist install I would suggest our custom plate. Thsere is not another plate on the market than can compare to the build quality or desighn of our plate. You can see more here.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-oxide/457612-nothing-compares-our-plate.html

I would top it off with a GENX2 and our custom digital window switch with the built in tps and any gear lock out feature.
We have this complete set up on this months specials.
You can see them here. Look at group 6!!!!

Let me know if I can help in any way.
Thanks
Dave

Scott,
If you are reffering to my post. Yes sir. I am 100 percent positive that we have a plate instock that works on the Z06. We have one for all the LSX and LTX applications. We do all our own research and developement so I remember pretty well.
Thanks
Dave

If everybody has a Z06 kit, how come I never heard of it? Us Z06 guys have been looking for years for a dedicated 80mm plate kit, 80mm maf kit, or what ever? Are we talking a 80mm plate, or a 75mm plate that'll work on a Z06? and same question for the MAF kit?

You have heard becuase you do not go to our Site lol No wait, in the past you were asking Dave about one and I was teasing you to go wet.. Yep, need to find that thread might help you remember.
Here the link tot he instructions.
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instructions/1pcmaf.pdf

Now I have measured and cut up more than a dozen intakes, ls1, ls6, and never have I measured the opening in the intake to be 80mnm.
The maf systems fits the car and its sensor beautifully.

Yes, I remember, however, the factor that always kept me from further exploring this avenue was the fact that it was never mentioned that it was made to fit a Z06 with the 80mm MAF.

Now I have measured and cut up more than a dozen intakes, ls1, ls6, and never have I measured the opening in the intake to be 80mnm.
for sure.
Are you saying you doubt that the Z06 has a 80mm maf and throttle body?, or are you saying you didn't measure and thus do not know? Z06.com will have your answer
The maf systems fits the car and its sensor beautifully.
So this is a universal kit and not Z06/80mm specific?Ricky

The system was built, laid out, installed on a Vette. I see you did not read the instructions.

I see you are avoiding the questions. Is the install pics of a Z06. A C5 Corvette is hardly a C5 Z06, totally different animals. Now am I impling it won't work on a Z06, no. But just want all the info. I would hate to have a 75mm opening, in a plate or maf system hanging into the air stream. This maf kit also works on a C6 correct? and that is a 90mm correct? see so I am not busting your *****, just trying to get straight answers.

I avoid NO question,
The Maf fits ALL on piece. Not sure where you are measuring the maf Robert the opening or the exit, I measure it at the aluminum body. Tell you what I will go find the vette I used for fitment and testing. To confirm just which vette it is, since its been more than a day, I do not remember. Now I will even go one step farther, if it is a ZO6 vette, I will take the throttle body off and measure the opening and take a few pics. I will also take some pics of the car. FAIR?
Like I said before not a vette person.... that 90mm maf does not measure 90 at the aluminum housing. In fact the c6 we did the first install on for the cover of vette monthly, match the same part number as one I had setting on my desk for 3 years. interesting aint it. I will get back with you on this, I will start a new thread so not to destroy this one. Now wheres that guys number,
Ricky

Ricky, I am not measuring anything. the Z06 was speced with a 80mm set-up, rather than the standard 75 ls1 stuff, for higher rpm power I suppose. Is this not in reference to the opening size and thus the flow. Why would we destroy this thread, it's Z06 based and info for all?

I was under the impression the Z06 was an 80mm also and that's why I was surprised that Dave was saying he had a plate for it
