NX Bottle Question
NX Bottle Question Is it a bad idea to use the 2 1/4 inch holes on the sides of these bottles? No one i see actully uses them. I put a guage in one and the bottle heaters pressure sensor in the other.. Should i use a manifold for this? Thanks for the advice in advance.

Yur talkin 'bout the 2 1/8" ports on the newer nx bottle valves? I did the same and there are no ill effects(except I cant buy the bottle openr from dynotune yet) If anything putting the pressure switch for the bottle heater in that port is the safes place it can be, its constantly references the bottle pressure and that means no worrys if you left the heater on without opening the valve.

My bottle is set up the same way but i don't have the 90* bend on the pressure guage. What's the part number for that fitting?

Yeah, as stated, they eliminate the need for all those flow through manifolds. The only "problem" is they still give you a reading when the bottle is closed, which could be very misleading. If you forget to open your bottle it could have quite the adverse effect on your engine with wet shots! I have a tendancy to forget so my gauge doesn't get it's psi reading from the bottle, it gets it from the solenoid area.

Somebody09 are you saying that you hooked your pressure senor up to the nitrous solenoid so you have the reading from there? If so that is something I never thought of because then you have a more consistent pressure reading.
