Default what ET improvemenst are yall getting on spray?

i had a 100 dry shot on my car this weekend and raced it in the 1/8th mind you i only had street tires and sprayed in 2nd and 3rd but only gained like .17-.20 tenths and on a 150 it made its best pass at 8.52 @ 88.25 my motor pass was a 8.85@ 81ish are my 4.10's killin me or what is it besides tires?

You need to take it to a 1/4 mile and spray all through 4th. Do you not have headers/ls6 intake?

I went from 8.7 @ 82.6 on motor to 8.0 @ 93.9 on a 150 shot.

I went from 8.4 @ 86 n/a to 7.85 @ 91.96 on a 130 shot. 60ft was 1.89.

.2 bwahaha but i gain a solid 10mph... i finally have some tires out back but got rained out this weekend to make any decent passes(damp track)

2 weeks ago first time with spray. and on street tires.
NA 1/8th 8.83@80.08........... 1/4 13.80@100.96mph
W/150 wet shot 1/8th 8.28@86.23........... 1/4 12.78@113.34mph

60 ft was 2.15NA and 2.11w/150 shot so roughly the same.

I sprayed in first, but I have the FJO programmer which was set at 25% shot at 300rpm ramping to 100% shot at 5800rpm.
Definitely need to make that a bit more aggressive before my next runs!!!

i have long tubes but no ls6 intake or anything i know i need tires bust dont know what else is hindering my et's

When you spray are you spinning any or do you maintain traction?

cant really tell i dont think its spinnin but my roommate that also raced my car said it was i know my 60's are shitty... and i know i need tires to make a big diff but i am just dissapointed i guess

You gotta have the tires to make use of any power. On street tires my car ran only 12.5 ish on motor but 12.1's with the DR's, 60' times are consistent 1.6-1.7's with the DR's. 1/8th mile times went from 7.8's to 7.3's with the 100 shot. I wouldn't bother wasting my time spraying at the track on street tires, it lights them up at 60-70 mph on the highway. Just food for thought, spend some money on a good set of DR's, mount them on some used wheels and be done with it.

No offense but if I only trapped 86 in the 1/8th with a 150 shot I would assume something was VERY wrong. My car BONE STOCK, with 150 shot trapped 93-94 on street tires. Crappy ones at that.

I'd be sure to check your tune and make sure you arent running overly rich.

I only saw a .7 improvement on a 150 shot. Main reason was the car would not hook until 4th gear.

I went from a 9.0 on motor to a 7.98 on a 150 shot with the transmission shifting screwed up and too loose of a converter.

My improvments are in my sig, although I did trap 120 on another run w/150 shot but the et was higher.

you should see a much bigger improvement than that. normal increases in my case were dropping from a 7.9/7.8 to a 7.20 @ 100 on a 100 shot.

edit, i just noticed that you arent spraying a 100 shot. you only picked up 60 horse at the wheels. i really cant say what a normal increase on a shot size like that is.
