Default TR6 spark plugs

The engine runs the same but the idle is a little bit weird but It might be me, or is it normal to see a difference between the stock ones and those TR6? another question, is there a way to see if one is damaged without taking them out?

Gotta take them out to see if there is damage. TR6's are a colder plug, so a minimal odle difference might be seen. Nothing major though...

i have the same problem.. and all i changed was the plugs and wires, so i know for sure it's the plugs. i dont want to pull them all and check them though. i would hope if one was broken, the computer would read a misfire and signal the ses light, but idk.

i've done a little research and i dont think that for as many people i've talked to that have this problem, that we all could have broken a plug. these plugs are **** IMO. my car ran perfectly before i did this little "tune up". I'm going to be changing these plugs out in a few days with some Bosch or AcDelco platinum's. probably going to cost me a few bucks and a few hours of labor, but i want my car running right.

so u'r saying that the spark plugs hurt your cars performance causing you to run just a little bit better than an LT1? Im about to put in the TR6's, will these plugs hurt my N/A runs?

for me, an occasional shake at idle, and a little choppy acceleration at WOT is running badly. however, i did lose at least .2 in the 1/8th because of this for sure. i ran my car after i did this, and it ran a 9.1 compared to my best time before the TR6's of an 8.8. and yes, i know, i'm not a very good driver lol. my 60' times are 2.3-2.4 ish

I think one of them is not gapped correctly or one of those wires didnt fit all the way, that happened with me, the Idle in mine is a lil weird but performance didnt change, and yea I wish I could go back to the other plugs man but Im just being safe for that shot

ya i hear you about spraying, but in my case, untill i can put the car up during the week, i'm not going to be spraying. it would just be too tempting, and i'd end up breaking something on my only means of transportation. so, untill then, i'm going to get the correct plugs in the car.

oh, and i've double and triple checked all of my wires. BTW, another guy on here is having the same problem with TR55's. if any of you can shed some light on the situation, hit up this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/543434-msd-wires.html
