well if you are thinking about this for your LT1 then th e NX kit you picked won't work. Its for an Ls1. You can however order a custom NX one that will work for your Lt1, since the actual NXL nozzles work on either platform.

DP? What is that?

860 Performance, that kit will work, the black plastic line to the nozzles are cut to fit, comes in a roll.

Yeah but that kit comes with LS1 fuel rails.
Dave sells one that is the same except no fuel rails which is what you need for an LT1
Vinny

btw, I run NX NXL nozzles on my car

Damn, Vinny, you have almost as many nozzles in your intake track that I do. Pretty pimp set-up by the way, now I see how your dipping into the 9's.
All the above kits can be made to work well. Just decide what fits your budget and end goals. remember we also sell all the NX kits. At the top of our old site page is a link to Nitrous store, our new site coming on line soon and that's where you can preview the NX kits.

Thanks for the compliment, the goal is 9.50 on pump gas this year.

The NX kit he is referring in his post will not work on an LT1, he would need a universal NXL kit, not the LS1 nxl kit. Thoes rails are not plain distribution rails, they are combo fuel rails specificly for an LS1. Just making sure he gets the right information.

Vinny said it perfectly, the systems show at the top for NX is set up for the LS1 engine. If you want a direct port with out the drilling, then a 80010-10nxl. will give you 2 noids, 1 dist. block and the proper NXLs for most GMs.

Ricky

can not say all GM seeing how I found one 4 banger they do not fit on properly...

wait a minute, I was wrong.
The picture is the LS1 kit but the part number is the 80010nxl.
I just looked at the picture, not the part number.

I am not a big fan of the under the injector nozzles. However I personally prefer the NXL nozzles over the others. The NXL nozzles set the injector in the seat good and the desighn will not interupt injector flow.

The standard NX NXL kit will not work with the LT1. However like Vinny said they have a universal that will. I personally would use a Directport upgraded to NXL nozzles if I wanted to go that route. I like the hard line better than the NXL hose that comes in the universal kit. However if you do not have the capabilities of plumbing hard line the NXL hose may be better for you.

With the LT1 keep in mind that the under the injector nozzles will space up the injectors. This will space up the stock fuel rails and the will not be a direct bolt on.
You can make it work with little work and adjusting.

If this is a intake you plan on keeping I would personally plumb a real directport on the intake. If you do not have that capability you can send it to us and we can put one on there with parts and labor for around 1150.00. This includes bottle and all.

Dave what we have is a one off LT1 intake, you may have seen it do a search for my name in Drag Racing tech and you will see it in one of my progress posts. I am not fond of drilling this intake. The price you quoted, is that the parts and labor including the system?

Here it is

David,
Someone emailed me pics of that intake a while back asking what they could do to it?

The price I quoted was using nozzles drilled and taped into the intake.

With that pretty intake I would not use the universal NXL. If anything else do like Vinny has. Use hard line with the NXL nozzles. THe suggested jetting that will come with the kit will probley be way to rich and you will probley have to jet it down to get the air fuel right. Thats the main down fall of using the NXL nozzles.
