What kind of wide band do you use, how much did it cost and do you really feel strongly about them?
My buddy used one on his boosted lightning. I have the 02 bungs in my exhaust.........that would work great for the wide band. But I don't know what would be the best one to get or how hard it would be to install?
Any information would really help me in my quest.
Thanks

Yes it work. I use the LM-1 for mine, as well I bought a second sensor for portable tuning of friends cars. Works great, although I consider the LM-1 to be more of either a permanent install hardwired or use it strictly portable....probably doesnt make sense, but for a personal car I'd get the LC-1 from Innovative, its smaller and cleaner install.

Well when I went to get the car dyno tuned for the nitrous kit I installed, the guy just hooked up the 02 sniffer in those holes. When he was done he just plugged them with some fittings that he had. He still has the 02 sensors though.
So I figured I might be able to do what he did, but with a wide band.
I love my Innovate LM-1, got it with the optional LMA2 RPM converter. I can log more than just RPM and AFR, I also use it to log my nitrous on/off and TPS. I would never try to tune another car without one. I really like the Log Works software that comes with it too, such a useful tool! Another great thing is that I can use it to log data on other cars, Im not restricted to one type of car or even just EFI vehichles and dont have to have a lap-top computer in the car to log either. Got mine for 429.00 with the LMA2, I highly reccomend it.

I was thinking of getting an fuel pressure gauge to go with the wide band commander and some how incorperate them into an a-piller gauge type setup.
I've seen them like that and they look really clean! I don't know how difficult it would be though!

Dean at DynoTune sells it in a kit with a gauge. I use one sensor to feed my Dynotune gauge
then I use an output from both sensors into my logging software cable. I am using the kit that dyno tune sells. I switched over to all there guages. In the process of adding the second wideband to monitor the left bank. If you want a peace of mind while usinf the spray I would suggest getting 1 or 2. Here's a pic of the interior so far.

PM me if you have more ?

That is exactly what I want to do with my piller. That way I can monitor the A/F and fuel pressure.
What do those gauges monitor? Obviously the A/F, but what else?

LM-1 here also. I leave mine hooked up all the time, with the unit hiding behind the passenger seat. When I do a nitrous pass, I simply relocate it to the seat and press record for the run. I installed the O2 in the header collector. I was going to do it how you mentioned (rear O2) but was told to mount the sensor as close as possible to the collection point, so I did. Actually was just about as easy to do, I simply removed the collector and had it welded in then re-installed. Hell, it took longer running the wires then anything else.
Good luck.

That was the only reason I was going to do this. I didn't want to have to drill and weld another bung when I got two that will work.

I use an AEM wideband in my car. I like the AEM and the LM-1 units. The data logging software that comes with the LM-1 is really nice to have, if you are going to have access to a laptop in your car to check out the logs at the track or where ever.
The older AEM units only read down to 11.1:1 so if you get one, be sure to get the newere "6 in 1" kit that reads 10.0:1 to 18.0:1.

On the pillar right now is A/F (right bank) on top and fuel pressure below that. On the console in the swicth center and nitrous pressure to the right. The pod is autometer. I could not get a triple pod for my year so the new set up will be, A/F (left bank) on top and A/F (right bank) on bottom of the pillar. Then I will relocate the fuel pressure and switch it from a round gauge to a rectangular one and have it recessed in to the console to the left of the switches, in front of the shifter.

You dont want it after the cat (on a catted car) because the catalyic converter will change the exhaust mixture and give false AFR readings also.
