Yeah I saw that some people use filters. What are the benefits? Are they recomended? How many people use them? What happens if you dont use them? Thanks.

I had one, didn't like the idea of a solenoid sticking open so I bought one.

Its another precautionary part. I know I'm getting one with my kit. I don't want to risk having anything except nitrous pass through my noids.

Definetly get one - 90+ percent of solonoid failures are from debris getting into the solonoid. Also make sure the place you have refilling your bottles has a filter on their lines!

It's called "FOD"... Foreign Object Damage.

The scary thing is not that foriegn objects get lodged places they don't belong, It's that it happens so often they coined a name for it!

For the inline filters, is it best to put it just before the solenoid on the feed line, or just off the bottle? I'm guessing the further downstream the better, just incase the braided feedline sheds at all.

I always put my filters at the bottle. This way if there is trash in the bottle it does not go into the main hose. You can get solenoid fittings with a screen in them incase something comes from the hose. The chances of the inner liner of the teflon hose comming loose is very slim..
