I've had mine rebuilt with Motive 3.73 and a eaton posi/ls. Had it on M/T's and Nittos and abused it its hole life. I'm about to go to a slick and see what happens.

On a stock one your rolling the dice.

245/60 16 is a bit taller 27.57" than my 275/40 17 25.66"

3.90's for sure with your tire!! Put some 245/60 16 DR's and go to town!
=126mph @ 6000 in 4th..........more than enough for the street

4.10's would work nicely at the track 1/4mile for a bolt on only M6.......=120mph @ 6000 in 4th

Just My 2cents!!

I was thinking of useing tsp's rear end gear package, they have 3.23 3.42 3.73 and 4.11. I was just worried about running out of gear in 4th at the track with the 4.11, so going with 3.73 (motives) am I wrong??? or on the right track here?? Not totally sure never ran spray in a car before.

with a 245/60 16" tire and 4.10's you will be good to 124mph @ 6200rpm in 4th

you need to do find someone running a M6 bolt-on only with nitrous and the same tire size...........not easy to do but this is the place! Try the Drag Race results forum

You have 440 hp and 560+ tq and you're barely breaking into the 1.7s. If you're happy with that, more power to you. With less than 300rwhp I'm cutting 1.6 60' times.

I have a stock motor with 150 shot. And I have gone 1.49 a couple times. Ask around to see how many people are hitting 1.4 60' times with 0 suspension mods. You won't find very many that's for sure.

With an M6, don't waste your $ changing gears, just save for WHEN it breaks.

Yea I was actually thinking that too, I guess someday I'll have enough moneys for a 12 bolt.

would using a progressive controller with time delay help preserve the 10 bolt? What I mean is that if its the launch is what kills the 10 bolt would delaying the n20 to come on help preserve it and that with a shot thats progressivly controled?

it can but the 10 bolt itself is rather weak so there it no saying WHEN it will break. Many people break them at stock power levels but other's have taken them pretty far. I think it's mostly luck.

That's crazy to me. I bought used Draglites with Nittos and they spin easier than my cheap street tires. I kept them on for the track anyway, hoping there would be a difference, and of course there was not. Best 60' with Nittos = 2.26, then with MT DRs = 1.74 (I'm not spraying, yet). That's a huge difference.

nittos are not as good as mt dr's but they are better than a street tire. I have cut 1.8 60's on nittos when my car was a six speed.
