Default a few questions for the people with big nuts, lol.

I got my 100 shot wet kit on my car. Gonna see how it works here in a few days. My question is who is spraying from 0mph-999999mph. As in.. who sprays from 1st to 3rd and doesnt stop spraying the whole run? Ill have a activation switch to actavate it from 3000 and spray through the shift too. I have a level 4 FLT trans with a PI 3200 converter. So it should handle it fine. Is there any a4 guys here that sprays throug the shifts??

I've sprayed a 150 through the shifts on my stock trans a few times and it was ok. I got scared though and stopped doing that until I can get a built trans.

I sprayed 175hp from "as soon as I knew the tires weren't spinning" to the finish line. Through the stock A4 with a shift kit and converter. I did that for a year and half, no major problems. It would flare the shifts when hotlapping and a full hit on rare ocassions. Car is a bolt on, stock engine, 3.73 gear went 11.teens @120ish.

How about 250rwhp shot on a bonestock longblock, from launch to finish line, 1st thru 4th. I have over 200 passes (allthough not all at the above level) and problem none. Time to get some sackage and spray that bad boy. I would use a window sw though.

Wow, thats incredible to spray 1st through 4th on your Z06....how much did it cost to swap in the automatic

It's a 6-speed, but it's the same for breakage?

Spraying though the shifts is alot harder on an automatic than it is on a M6.

It creates alot more heat, and can cause premature failure of the 3/4 clutches, as the 2/3 shift is a little slow compared to the 1/2.

PS I knew your Z06 is a M6 they all are...unless you spend some coin to swao in an auto.

LOL that's alot of juice on a stock long block! Let's start 'em out small first! DOn't want to be held accountable for any damage!

lol, thats funny. Ill start off with a 100 shot first, which is prob. a baby shot for some of you guys. So bolt on lt1, got my 6al at 6500 rev limiter, shift points at 6200 and my window switch from 3k-6400. Sound right?

True, however, he has a built tranny and I have a stocker which guys blow apart all the time. Was more for insight and to ease his concerns rather than a straight up comparison. A 100 shot and a built tranny should be a cake walk. I used to spray my auto C5 through the shifts on stock tranny, and it held while I had it. The reason I stated my hp shot was also to ease any concerns spraying the 100 and to give an idea how far we can push these bad boys if we like.
Yank just came out with a do it your auto self conversion, but is still big $$.

6500 and as close to a full on speed shift without calling it speed shifting, if that makes sense.

its fine to spray the whole run, keep the bottle pressure up, and id say just to be safe even on a built tranny id cut it off 100 rpm before the shift...unless you have the coil to get a new built tranny, i see it as un-needed abuse
