Default This is how we do it

ok finally had some time on a local dyno.. no one but me and the dyno operator for the day so i had some time to play around..

previous best

200 shot no heater

615/656 unknown a/f

now
200 shot dual stage 950 psi in both bottle

621/651 10.7 a/f

300 shot 2 stage same 950 bottle but rich jetting

698/751 with a 10.1:1 a/f

stock rotating assembly
arp rod bolts..

OEM headgaskets and bolts
OEM injectors..

26* of timing
and 93 in the tank
112 in the standalone..

I'm very happy to say the least..

Holy ****, 26* of timing on a 300 shot!!!! Dude, be really careful when you actually run that at the track, you can get away with a lot for the few seconds ur hittin it on the dyno. I did the same as you 93 in the main tank and 112 in the standalone and only ran 20* on a 300 shot.

BTW, what kind of tranny you got in the car?

DYNO Queen!

Glad to see you got some good results. I'm with Devon about that's a lot of timing and some low octane for that size hit. Ultimately it's up to you to do what you feel is right though.

How much does your car weigh?

So what octane do we end up with, 112 stand alone and 93 tank, 97? I run 24* with straight 104 Trick and no problems on 250rwhp (and ls6 compression)?

hey hey now..

3680 with me in it..

this was actually only the third car this guy has had on the dyno.. he just put it in.. did his f150 his wifes accord.. then my car.

its a mustang dyno.. i haden't planned on going that big.. but sometimes you have a lap of judgement and just say fuckit.. prob wasn't smart but hell who cares ..

a bunch of people have told me i'm going to blow it up and asd ask why i'm doing it..

in all honesty i have NO idea why the motor is lasting but it is.. compression and leakdown are still AOK..

dyno sheets will be up as sson as he hooks a printer up to his machine..

Mike

P.S.
Vic i'm coming for that 69.. J/P

Sounding good Mike, whens the next track outing with the 300? IDK, with a Mustang Dyno, as long as he had it loaded the timing might be ok..I'd probably lower the timing 3-4*s and lean it out to high 10, low 11afr and play it that way, but as you said, its all personal choice and ultimately what you feel good with. GL.

Nice numbers.. Way to beat on that stock bottome end.

I would pull alittle more timming a swell. However when you do you will probley need to lean the sytem out alittle to about 11.2-11.5 air fuel.

The rich tune up may have been a engine savior with that much timming.

Either way Great job.. It drove off the dyno.
