Back when I was teaching classes at TSTC college we installed a NX intercooler kit on a supra. The system workes well but goes through the nitrous very fast. You can put a restricter jet in the system to slow down how fast it uses the nitrous. I feel that you will see a better gain from using a single nozzle nitrous system with a small hp setting. This will cool the intake charge and increase the hp a bit. You can jet the system down to 35hp.

Dave is some what correct, another solution is to use c02 instead of nitrous it's a bit cheaper. But for most people they want to ice it down period and don't really care how much they use to do that.

Scotts right,
You can use CO2. You will need to make sure you order the system with a C02 valve instead of a nitrous valve to use CO2. The Co2 refills will be half the cost of the nitrous.

Ahh ok so you just order a kit without the nitrous bottle and with Co2 jets, Or is there a whole separate kit for co2?

You will just let us know you are going to use Co2 instead of Nitrous. This way we can put a Co2 valve in the bottle instead of the Nitrous Valve. Everything else stays the same.

A few of my buddies have had good luck running dry 30-50 shots on their 03-04 Cobras, cools the temps very well and a 10lb bottle will last for quite a long time.

So iv heard that A 10 pound bottle will last a long timebut a Supra used one in 3 passes? So you think the co2 would last longer or the nitrous? I guess even if the nitrous did last longer the co2 is still cheaper.

It depends on the jets used, a 50 shot will yeild alot more full out passes then a 200 shot due to the amount of gas being used on each pass. As far as the spray bars I am not sure they use jets at all due to the fact they are not being sprayed directly into the motor, if no jets are used that may be the reason it kills bottles so fast. Like others have said your best bet would be a small dry shot sprayed directly into the motor through a single nozzle.

Yeah there was no jets in it and thats why it killed the bottles.

The only way a 10lb bottle will last a long time is if you are using a real nitrous system spraying into the motor. Now with the intercoooler kit I would use co2. You can also put a restrictor jet in there so it does not free flow as much.
