"Big Shots"
I have seen a lot of posts about people spraying 200 shots and higher on stock bottom ends. For those of you going through a single jet are you spraying the entire 200+ at once???? I thought that would be murder to the lower part of the engine..... but I could be wrong. Its starting to sound like if you have enough fuel, and a good tune, you can do whatever you want.

most people shooting over 200hp aren't doing it thru single jets.
that's an awefull lot of nitrous/fuel to flow thru that intake manifold.
but the bottom end should be fine with a little direct port kit

250rwhp in dual stage here, a dry set-up of course. Soon to be 300rwhp shot in 3 stages all dry, and all stock longblock. All in one big shot off the line is pushing it, imo, because of the massive torque spike and resulting cylinder pressures. Keep the torque in check and these motors can take a healthy dose, given a spot on tune.

Even if your motor doesn't stress out, you have to hook it up! My guess is most pure stock drive trains and suspensions won't hook up with that much instant torque. I highly reccommend at least a progressive setup to ease into the power.

Most racers use multistage setups for a good reason...they work. I suggest a progressive unit for the big singe shot that has to be tamed. Or on a street car where you can simply control the shot with the quick interface with a laptop or equiv to write a simple new map. Multistage takes a bit more to fine tune. You'll find lots of threads that dis progressive controllers as not being a strong as multi stage...they mau not be...but for a street car, they are much easier to edit the setup depending on your conditions at the time you are running. EX: maybe you decide to swap jets from a 200 to 275 but you know you'd blow the tires off...click the first gear lockout and be done with it...maybe ease the n20 on...youosolenoids will be fine turing off and on...there just electromagnets!!
