im thinking about running a HSW Single sudden impact dry kit and i have 315 drag radials and 4.10's im thinking that i have to much gear for the GAS, what do youll think ???

I run 4.11s, 150shot and 27-11.5-15 QTPs and i go in the 9.1 and 9.2 in the 1000ft and 7.0 and 7.1 in the 1/8th, so i figure u will be all right!

i think you'll be just fine man. my buddy goes 11.7s at 122 with the 4.10s on a stock sized tire

Last year I ran 4.10s, with 150 shot and 26s and ran out of gear early but I think you will be fine just barely, however I was turning 6,900 rpm's. And on the dyno my car does 126 in 4th and I coasted down to a 122 trap.

with a 26" tall tire and 4.10 gears at 6200rpm in 4th youl be going 117mph

add 2mph for every extra 100rpm

26" tire 3.90's 6200rpm in 4th i can trap up to 123mph

umm im guessin that those are nittos.... so im thinkin they might not hold . if it were MT ET DRs i think you would have way better luck.

if it was a 26in slick thats diffrent yeah it would hold.

gear*speed*tranny ratio/tire size* 336 = rpm for those that need to know example
3.89*135*1/27*336=6535.2 RPM and 26in tire is 6787RPM perfect right.
