Default Will these be ok?

http://www.r1concepts.com/Items/comb...48?sck=3262743

I don't have a ton of money right now and don't need anything special but my rotors and pads are shot and I need new ones. Will these be ok, I just need to be able to stop w/o issues from over 140 goin through the traps and normal stopping on the street, obviously the car won't be doing any crazy braking around a circle track! Basically i'm just out of the loop on the brands for brakes and wanna make sure these aren't gonna be garbage and warp after a couple passes (plus I do my burnouts through my rear brakes, so i'm sure that puts a hurtin on them, I should really put the linelock on i've had sittin here for over a year, hahhaa). So opinions welcome, thanks guys!

I've actually had great luck with my Auto Zone Duralast rotors and Hawk HPS pads. If I remember correctly I had pads and rotors for all for corners for about $400... I'm certainly not the nicest to my brakes and they've served me well for 2 years. Plus there's a warranty on the rotors, so if they warp, take 'em back.

****... just realized this is in the wrong forum. Oh well, in before the move.

Cuz I don't want people in the brakes section tellin me stupid **** like to get a bear big brake kit or something dumb like that. If I had the money I would get the aerospace or strange drag brakes, but i'm just lookin for replacement stuff for not too much money.

D, i run the slotted ones from speed inc. they are pretty affordable, and look good and last a long *** time.

im not 100% sure, but i think that brand is the ones they had alot of warping issues with once they saw heat. so you may be better off spending a little extra now. plus 140 mph is nothing to mess around with brakes!!!!

Hey Brad, what about these, I thought i've seen them do group purchases on here before too, but not sure, they look like a decent deal:

And which one's on Speed Inc's site are you talkin about, the Sure Stops or the Rototechs?

i always run the sure stop.

not sure i would go drilled and slotted. i see in the cheeper rotors the drilled spots crack under hard braking.

I had the wholesale rotors that had slots and drills for about 6 months. I didn't even hit the track yet just street runs. The slots and drills started cracking. They wanted me to pay for shipping to send them back to look them over. I see lots of people like them. My opinion total junk and trash customer service.

You know what, I think i'm just gonna shell out the extra money and get the aerospace kit for the fronts. I was worried about using them since they say not to use 'em on a car over 3000 lbs and that drives on the street, but I have buddies with cars heavier than mine and who drive theirs on the street more than mine with 'em on w/o any problems, runnin 'em for a couple years now.
