Default 820rwhp on 1st stage

Sprayed the 1st stage today. It is pilled for 300. As you can see there is still some left with the 1st stage. Little fat, but we just got tired and to late to continue. Maybe I will make it out to the track in a couple of weeks. This is with BR7EF plugs and Torco 116 fuel. 31 degrees on motor and 19 degrees on the hose. After these pulls I am thinking I will pill the 2nd stage down to 200. It seemed very tame on the dyno. These pulls don't have and torque because I hit it at 90 mph. We pulled the plugs after every pass. All seemed ok with alittle extra fuel on them. Timing marks looks to be right on. EGTs were reading around 1300 degrees give or take and you can see the wideband, the BS3 was reading around the same.

Thx RPM for letting me use a ton of dyno time and help and thx to James for staying up late tuning.

I would like that. I hope to have every thing running perfectly at the track but it never happens that way. Fortunatley I have a huge snapon pit box that goes to the track with me. We should be ok and the tune is pretty conservative.

Nice numbers, very sweet. However, looks as though your lean at your torque peak. how long in time was it? Did you ever get your fuel return jetting squared away, or is that why it still shows the lean spike?

Wideband can't keep up. It was off somewhat compared to the wideband on the BS3. The fuel pressure does drop down alittle but not near as bad as it used to. I would not be scared to take that setup to the track and leave out of the hole on it. The EGTs did not show to be hotter in the beginning of the run then at the end of the run. Pretty much stayed level across the board.

Not yet. We just didn't have time. I still have to finish up the travel limiters and I bent the alternator bracket I guess. I have to fix that also. I am going to put some colder plugs in it for the track and hope everything goes well. It looks good on the dyno but who knows. That is the most power my car has ever seen.

The only thing that stood out to me was a 300 shot on BR7's.

I think the 8's at the track would be alot safer.

Good luck with it, I want to see that record fall this year.

i agree, i would probably start off with 9's, see how it reacts. 9's and a little extra fuel for the first pass, then go from there.

Congrats on some VERY killer numbers!!!!

FWIW, I'm running 9s on a 300 shot and the heat range looks good on the plugs.

Be careful with that 2nd kit on the dyno. When I made 762rwhp with one kit at 200hp on the dyno, things didn't go well when I hit the 2nd kit of 250hp more. Motor looked like a nuclear bomb when I was done. Not sure if you're set on seeing 1000rwhp on the dyno but you may want to just keep that next hit to the track tuning.

Wow, I used to run 7's on the 300 and went to 8's just to be safe and they seem fine, can't believe everyone's runnin 9's!

I've run a 7 and an 8 in the past on that much gas. I've also hurt the motor a couple of times You can probably do 8s and be ok. My thinking is that it's usually several small things combined that lead to catastrophic failure and as many safe guards you can make, the better off you are. Now you see why I run 9s (plus they read the right range on the plug).
