Default NX Wet To Dry Conversion Help!!

I have a NX Universal Kit for EFI. Since I'm in the market for a Kit to install on my c5 z06, I figured why not turn the Wet system I currently have into a Dry system? But, How do I know what jets to use for a 75, and 100 dry shot? or how can I make it work? I'm opened to better suggestions as wel.

All you have to so is use the Nitrous side of the system and get a dry nozzle.
This nozzle uses NX Jets so you can use the jets you already have.

Just use the nitrous pill that is listed on your jet card. That will give you that HP to the ground.

Can I run those in as a dual nozzle dry set up? If I buy two, how do I figure out what jets to use then?

Basically lets say you want a total of 100 hp. You will put the 50hp Nitrous Jet that is listed on your jet card into each nozzle.
I can give you a jet list monday.
If you want dual nozzles you can order a T like this.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2710

Two nozzles and use both the 2 foot -3 hoses you have. If you want matching blue colors you will need another two foot -3 blue hose like this.

I will have fresh numbers Tommorrow nite my dry shot on my C-5
Jetting will be using NX dry nozzles this year.

I am an A-4 C-5, last year in testing

NOS jetting
2 x 26 I got 42 RWHP
2 x 32 I got 63 RWHP

This year I am a little more prepared with 42 Delphi injectors, Racetronics Pump, AR LT Headers, LS6 intake, and a EFI Live Nitrous Custom Operating system .

Here is a T Dry with the Blackwing

Have switched to a Y

Thanks Beer

It gives me and Idea or ballpark figure of where I need to be with the jetting. I like the Y idea rather than a T for smother flow.. Please post your updated list as soon as you have it figured out.

What type of nozzles are you using? Very interested in the angle because of the way you mounted them going into the blackwing. I have a vararam on mine and after looking at it, it's going to be nearly impossible to mount straight shot nozzles on the sides because of the curve on the housing.

But after looking at your mounting position, that might just be the best mounting location for me as well. If I use the same mounting location as you did, then I think a 70* nozzle will be needed to get them to spray towards each other and meet in the center and in front of the maf.

Robert56 has a Vararam, search out some of his post and click the link to his site, he has vararam dry nozzle pics there.

I am using NX Dry nozzles, they are 90° and aimed at each other to collide in front of the MAF.

What I like about these is they are big, 1/8" NPT Also they are indexed so that the NX logo shows you where the nozzle is pointing, so there is no guessing or marking/filing the nozzle to figure out where its pointing. I also like they use NX jetting (as does Dave's Wet Plate), so I dont have to mix jets between my systems.

Hoping to go 150 and maybe higher on the Dry, then bringing them back down to make a dry/wet combo that gets me 500 to the wheels.

Hey Beer, I did check out Robert56 setup, where can I get those NX Nozzles? I think they would work great with my vararam setup if I install them the same way Robert56 did. Will I be able to use NOS Flare Jets with those or Does it have to be strictly NX jets?

You will need the NX jets. Nitrous Outlet has them, you will need the 1/8" Bung for each nozzle as well.

Both of our nozzles use the same jets. They are the same nozzle with different orifice sizes. If you need either let me know sir. We offer a forum discount as well.

Sweet! Well I'm keeping it .052 or smaller (I think that's the 100 shot jet). My car only needs a small kick in the *** for this stock + intake 07 'vette vs my stock + intake/exhaust Formula... which orifice size would you recommend for this? I'll be using the Maximizer as well.

The .52 is a 100 shot. I would think that would be a good race. You should pull him a touch I would think.

A 57 jet is a 125 just in case.

This is a very old post.. But I am willing to bet it was for our 1/8NPT nozzle or 1/16 nozzle.

Nitrous Outlet 1/8 NPT Wet Nozzles are unlike any other wet nozzle on the market. These precision machined nozzles utilize a knife edge body to improve airflow around the nozzle and stronger jet fittings to help prevent easy breakage from over tightening.
