Default Ngk Tr6 right plugs for me?

i am just hooking up a 100shot on my bolt on 2001 camaro z28 .. im guessing most of you would recoomend the NGK TR6. Do these fit on my car. Could someone tell me if i should buy these---> ALso will i need to buy anything else with these because the stock connections wont work or will this be all i need. When installing how do i make sure the gap is correct?

you should just be able to go by your local parts store and ask for them, most parts stores carry ngk.

They look correct, but go over to your local Advance Auto or O'reilly (AutoZone doesn't stock NGK TR6's) and pick them up for ~1.59 each.

I ran those on my C5 when I was spraying. No problems at all!

Autozone does stock NGK's, but they don't carry the TR6 as far as I could tell. Ended up picking up some Autolite 103's (same heat range as TR6) from Autozone they had in stock, and picked up some NGK BR7EF's from Advance. They had to order them, but they got them next day for me.

Advance usually carries them. Tell them to cross reference 4177 (the stock number of the TR6) in the spark plug section of the computer

Yeah, my store was out of stock at the time and would've had to order. Either way though, they were able to get them next day.

Yes, run TR6 plugs for your setup, and I'd gap them at .035".

NGK TR6's should be great for what you are doing. They will just fit right in without and modifications. They fit in the plug hole and the plug wires fit right onto them. As for how long, it all depends on how well you work on your car and know what you are doing.

I did my plugs when I put the long tube headers in so it was a peice of cake and everything was wide open and easy to reach. But it shouldn't take but 10 to 15 minutes if you know what your looking for and have a little bit of car know how about yourself.

I've got a 150 wet shot and I'm running ngk-tr6's at .038.
If you're gonna do it yourself and it's your first time changing your plugs it'll probably take you a little while. I highly recommend taking off the coil pack rail on the passenger side (five 10mm bolts, the furthest one back is a pita!). It'll give you the room you need to reach the rear two plugs. Good luck!
