Default Anybody running HSW dry plate kit?

So I was all set to run a wet plate next year and stumbled across this kit on HSW's site. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? The interface controller looks very promising...

My H/C C5 currently makes 452/406. Im looking to spray no more than a 100rwhp shot. Anyone know if the svo 30# injectors I have will handle this?

Don't really know much about that setup

30# injectors seems pretty sketchy. I would say AT LEAST 42#, but probably more like 60#

Robert56 just posted this useful link to his site. If you use the method that he provides you can get a pretty good idea of the size injector you need

They are brand new, just starting to ship out to customers. The only way to know for 100% sure would be to log your injector duty cycle to see where it is at.

Goodluck with your kit, you'll find that the installation instructions are extremely detailed. If you run into any problems or have any questions feel free to PM me or give me a call.

I made 469rwhp/548rwtq on the jug with 36# injectors running 70% DC. I'd say the 30# are too small.

30's will be too small for sure.. I dynoed 433/403 N/A with SVO 30#'s and couldn't even run a 75 shot without the injectors maxing out. Right now I have SVO 42#'s and run a 150 dry shot and I am 76% duty cycle...

Yeah, don't let the price fool you. It is just as good as any other major name brand that is on the market. I've had my kit for 1 1/2 -2 yrs with zero problems (20+ bottles). One thing you will definately need is an adjustable bottle heater.

For a limited time out plate kits are on sale for the same price as the sudden impact nozzle kit. This is easily the best deal on the market from such a quality piece. Please search through the nitrous section, i guarantee you dont find a single piece of negative feedback. shoot me a pm if you need any help.

Agreed! Tripblack, I bought my kit and some other things from HSW, and I am really impressed with the service I've had. No matter how stupid my questions are (and as a nitrous newbie I've had some stupid ones) Matt has always been quick and thorough with an answer for me. And their install instructions are amazing! Very clear and easy to understand in my opinion.

There are almost too many options out there for us LSx guys now. Makes deciding on a kit pretty difficult.

Before I did the H/C I had a small dry shot and was making around 440rwhp with stock GM 28# injectors and it ran fine with a safe A/F(11.5-12.0). We all know these injectors can run 100% DC for a limited time and be fine. Just wanted to know if anyone has stretched the 30's out to 550rwhp...

These plate kits are on sale the whole month of Dec?

incase anyone is wondering why the dry kit is mor expensive then the wet kit, the dry kit already comes with our new "interface" controller. Its a great kit, especially if you want to run a dual stage setup. Since the plate will be bolted after the throttle body you will need the interface to add more fuel. it substitutes as a timing tuner as well.

If they are SVO injectors they will be around 36 to 38lb injectors on LS1s because we have higher fuel pressure. However I would still upgrade just to be safe.
