Timing, a/f will be the biggest things. You will need to do a good bit of tuning, and will need fuel system upgrades for sure, so injector mapping and whatnot will also need to be addressed. I would suggest having a pro do it if this is your first whack at tuning, it's real easy to hurt something with that much nitrous, epsecially if it's on a stock motor.

JL is right, tuning for that big of a dry shot isnt always the easiest thing in the world. our new product, the interface, was made for something exactly like this. one way or the other i would go to a pro.

I have a pro tuner for when I get my HPTuner...
My buddy has done tuning for the past 8 years.. I completely trust him for the fact that I have seen his tuning jobs...
I am getting the HPTuners for myself, and he is teaching me how to tune...
I would not attempt this on my own... But for the price a pro charges, **** that....

I can buy HPTuners and 2 bottles of N2O.. LOL....

I just figured I would get as much information for myself so when we are tuning the car, I can also understand what he is doing....

You know how people who have tuned for a while, it becomes hard for them to explain what and why they are doing what they are...

I have stayed away from pro tuning because they charge a butt load, they then have my credits, and then they charge me more if I need something changed.....

That sucks....

and as for the injectors, I was thinking a 40lb injector, and for fuel system
inline.. not sure what brand, but a inline added on my stock should do good.

but correct me if I am wrong, or if injector needs to be different size.

I think you will most likely need at least a 60lb injector with a shot that big. Check Robert56's post here in the nitrous section on how to pick injectors.

It's in my personal web site, actually doing all the tune your self is a breeze using the step by steps in my web for nitrous, and using the tune section for other parameters. Just start out with a small hit and you can verify your changes to see that your getting it correct. I am self taught and just took baby steps. It works for certain. Now, for those that don't have HP Tuner or a tuner program, or for that matter also have a tuner program, the HSW Interface is the BOMB, I have one sitting on my desk in front of me and will do a complete write up as time allows, it will be on my middle stage by the way, so using some of my HPTuner and some HSW Interface. On the injector sizing, I would go with SVO 42lb'ers, at our pressure they become IIRC 47lb'ers, you can see or figure this in my write up on Inj sizing/scaling. Check the site vendors for your Inj as some carry these. good luck on your set-up, sounds as if you have your bases covered for going biggish.

why svo 42 lb's? I guess these are an affordable route vs. and after market company same size?

What else do you have to change when you swap in these injectors?
