Default Where does everyone get their battery power from?

Do you go to the fuse box on the inside or the outside? Where do you get the battery power to run the nitrous relays, heater, etc? I am getting ready to start wiring mine. What about switched 12+ volt?

Thanks,
Bill

getting mine straight from the battery. not sure if this is why my car is dead after sitting for more than a couple weeks though. none of the system is ignition switched. worked for me for a while now no problems.

Directly from the battery is not switched.

Pink wires are switche sources. There is a large one directly under the steering wheel. Many other locations as well.

Your fuse block is the best bet.

For the Batt connection use the Acc. terminal on the drivers side of the engine compartment, it's towards the front of the car on the drivers side. You must use an inline fuse. As for the switched power to your switches to trip your relays you can use the Acc. terminal in the fuse panel inside the car on the drivers side of the dashboard. All you have to do is use a small male spade connector and it plugs right in. Just make sure you use an in-line fuse with about a 10 amp fuse in it. Good luck..... Also a good ground is very important try to ground everything you can to the same good ground source. In the engine compartment I used the same ground point that the factory used for both of the N2O relays. It's right next to the battery and there is a short ground wire from the battery to this spot on the pass. side fenderwell. For the inside ground you can scratch the paint off of one of the metal dashboard mounts under the dash to get a good ground for the switches. Take your time and wire it nice, it will payoff later.......

I got it to fit. I think I had it turned the wrong way. Where do you get the 12 v battery for a bottle heater that is in the trunk? Should I run a seperate 10-12 g wire to the fuse assy terminal?

The best way would be to run at least a 10ga wire from the Acc. terminal in the engine compartment on the drivers side all the way to the spare tire location. You will have to run the wire through the firewall and the best place to do that is on the pass side and you will have to remove the PCM. Make sure you fuse the wire as close to the Acc. terminal as poss. Good luck....

Is that the only place to go thru the firewall? The bottle warmer is on the drivers side and so is the Acc relay. It would be nice to have a way thru the driver side.

I looked everywhere on that side I will not say it's not poss. but it would take some doing. I think if you are worried about the length of the wire maybe jump up to an 8ga. or even a 4ga. wire. I am going to be replacing the 10ga. I have there now with a 4ga. with a distribution block so I can run the Heater relay, Bottle opener relay and my small 300 watt amp.
