Timing ?
So I hooked my car up to a scanner today and I'm pulling 26* of timing up to about 4500 then it goes up to 26.5* till 6k then it goes to 27*. I was trying to find out what the stock timing was but that didn't work out. Does anybody know what it is? What kinda timing is ideal for a 100 to a 150 shot? Should I not even try or should I be ok?
I will be running TR6 plugs and 93 octane. My mods are a lid, P&P TB, full exhaust, 230/232 cam. This is for NOS plate setup. Can somebody help me please.

That's what I was hoping it was about 24* but no such luck. I appreciate the info guys. It looks like I need to back about 3* out of it so I don't have worry about detonating. Thanks again guys.
don't mean to hijack the tread, but since timing is the subject, why is it that i'm running 15* with the 150 wet shot and rich mind you, and still can pull off 124mph and 11.29 et with 3750rwt.? so many guys are running 4 to to 7 more than me on the 150.

Oh yeah! All I got left to do is mount the bottle and wire everything up. Well I guess I gotta back timing off too. I would have it done but I just bought a house and my damn woman is wearin my *** out with **** to do. I should be spraying next weekend though and if I'm backing timing off it'll be a 150 I was going to try a 100 on the current timing but if I'm going to back it off its going to be the 150. I figured out why I couldn't get my car to hook up last strip trip. Too much air pressure. I figured 25 would be good but it seems everybody runs about 18 so if I can get it hooked up and spray it I should hit 11's which is the magic # I'm after right now.
