How about you start with a set of #7's, and gap them at 35. make a run, shut the car off and pull all 8 plugs, and get an idea what's going on.

I jusst saw another guy yesterday try to spray with a tr6 plug in his car, guess what after teh run 3 plugs, 1/2 the tip gone.

I gave him a set of #8's I had in my bag, he stuck them in makde another run and they looked perfect, I told him a #7 would probably be a better way to go so it wouldn't be so bad with fouling them on cold startup and whatnot.

So loosing the ground strap is a heat range issue? I'm running the 55s N/A & i feel there on the hot side, i hope the TR6s are cold enough for a 100 shot , if not, i'll get 7s

Can be a heat range issue, can be too much timing, not enough fuel.

For every step colder you go on the plug you generally lower the combustion chamber temps by about 100 degrees, that being said why start on the hot side.
