Power to be gained and safety of setup????
A local guy is trading me his NOS wet plate kit for my old rear end setup next week. I want to run a 100 shot on top of my current setup. I have:
231/237 112LSA cam
FAST 90/90
Lt headers/ORY/ catback
racetronix fuel pump
lid
M6
All i have to do is buy the 90mm plate. With my current setup i am making around 415 rwhp, what kind of HP and TQ can i expect on a 100 shot? I have heard of gaining more than 100 rwhp, which i would be afraid of because of my stock bottom end. What do you guys think about this?

Ahhh, I sold a 30th Ann. T/A for a friend of mine to a guy in New York, Just curious...
As far as your question.....With a safe tune up you will see somewhere arond 100 rwhp gain and over 100 rwtq since you have a M6. The lower the rpm's the more torque you will make. Just to be safe I would buy a window switch and set it to come on at 3K RPM's and go off at 6500 RPM's. A FPSS wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Just search around in here, there are hundreds of threads just like yours, you should be able to find answers to any questions you may have.

I don't know if LS2's are 90mm, but there have been a few used plates that are 90's lurking around the lsx for sale area.
I cut 8 tenths off my 1/4 mile time with a 100 wet shot two weeks ago and all I had was a catback. You should expect 100 rwhp and nearly 150 rwtq off a 100 shot, whether you run a M6 or A4. Torque should always be around 150% of the hp tuneup you install.
I can't wait to install my 3000rpm fuddle and go back to the track...
Have fun with it!
