Why would anybody buy this when you can buy a new 3GS with 32gig for $299, a new 3G, exactly as you're offering, for $99?
OK, so that is the price with a new contract. Even if you have to pay full price, you can buy a new 32 gig 3GS for $499.
You can use an iPhone with any service that uses a SIMM card. AT&T is the only official service, but it's possible.

I don't know... does Verizon use a SIM card? It's a tiny thing, inside your phone. Often in the battery compartment, although on the iPhone its at the top, between the headphone jack and the button.
I am not 100% sure, but I think that Verizon uses a SIm card on some phones. Spend a little quality time with google and you'll have all the info you need.

Guys, if you are eligible for an upgrade (you'll have to check with AT&T), then you get the discounted prices that you see advertised online. However, if you aren't eligible for an upgrade, you have to pay full price. I understand that the discounted price for a iPhone 3G 8GB is only $100, but that is for AT&T members who have the upgrade and will have to renew a 2 year service agreement.
I am offering this phone brand new in the box for those who aren't eligible for an upgrade or who has a carrier other than AT&T who wants to unlock the phone so they can use it on their carrier.
Here is the pricing straight from Apple:
Existing AT&T customers who want to upgrade from another phone or replace an iPhone 3G should check with AT&T or use www.apple.com/iphone/buy to find out if they are eligible for early upgrade pricing: $299 (8GB), $399 (16GB), or $499 (32GB) with a new two-year contract. For those who are not eligible for an early upgrade or who wish to buy iPhone as a gift, the prices are $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB).
