ECS 383 Forged LT1, Custom Turbo Cam + Much more!
PRICES REDUCED!!
Stuff left over from my new LT1 build.
I accept Paypal (buyer to pay 3% fee)
Forged 383 LT1 Short Block (1996 LT1) SOLD
This motor was professionally built by East Coast Supercharging. They built this motor to be a sick, bullet proof, daily driven NA motor. With the mildly ported stock heads (ported by ECS) & cam, this motor made 360/360ish rwhp/rwtq. With stock heads, the compression ratio is around stock ~ 10.5:1. I added D1SC blower and ran 8#s on this motor making 484rwhp for about 2K mi before I pulled the motor in favor of a low compression motor to run more boost. This motor runs really strong.
Mildly Ported LT1 heads
Came off the motor described above. Port work done by ECS. Comp cam Springs and Manley valves installed. No rockers or rocker arm studs. Stock CC's. $450 + shipping OBO
Custom Ground Turbo Cam
Installed in the new low compression motor I purchased but never run. I have the cam card with the specs. $200 shipped
ATI Procharger Piping & Twin Intercoolers I'm selling pretty much the entire ATI D1SC twin high-flow kit minus the head unit, inlet piping, and bracket bolts/spacers. Included is the piping from the MAF to blower outlet, two intercoolers (and mounting hardware), piping to the blower outlet, ATI bypass valve, and a brand new mounting bracket. I'm also including the instruciton manual. I'm asking $350 shipped OBO.

Stock TB ported by ECS. $60 shipped. OBO

I didn't have any detonation issues. It was tuned very conservatively but ran really strong. I went to the track twice with it and was trapping 120mph on nitto 555Rs. I didn't run it much because of the stock 10-bolt out back.
I'm not sure how much more boost it could take. I would have run maybe 10psi at most, but with meth/water as a safety precaution.
Overall, I don't think it was overly risky, because the Procharger kit was designed to run on a stock motor with anywhere between 6-10 psi. This motor has the same compression ratio as stock, except with stronger forged internals. So I was actually safer...
But in the end, I wanted to run more boost and do it properly on a motor built for FI. I would have just swapped pistons on this one, but I found a good deal on a newly one built low comp block.
