NEW!!! Functional 93-97 Camaro Fiberglass Hood, LS1 SS Style I have a BRAND NEW, still in original wrapping, mint contition 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS Functional Fiberglass Hood for an LS1 style intake that I will sell for $300 plus shipping. I bought it for $500 when I was planning on rebuilding my Z28, but never got that far so it sat in a garage until now. Time to sell. Shipping will most likely have to be freight unless you want local pickup. Pics will be up by mid next week. Even if you dont have the LS1 style intake setup on your 93-97 Camaro, this would be great to help with keeping the engine nice and cool by bringing in cool air from the top of the engine and creating circulation therefore reducing engine temps. This will still fit on an LT1 Camaro in the same years.

97 Camaro's had LS1's in them, so they made SS hoods for LS1 engines as well...it has the intake opening in the front middle of the hood just like a 2000 SS hood does, but it is made to fit on a 93-97 Camaro. from the top it looks identical to the 97 SS hood, the under looks like something from the 98 SS.

My bad, I was saying LS1 in 97, got my stats confused....your right, they has the LT1, and LT4 in the 97.....the 1st LS1 was 98. My bad, I'm retarded, but this does have a setup for LS1 style intake on it. I'll get a pic...

GM never made these, It is an aftermarket thing. But he is right, it should work if you have an LS1 intake set up. But no, the top DOES NOT look like the 96-97 SS Hood, it has the 98-02 SS Hood design top and bottom.
This hood is commonly known has the SS V2.

lol, its cool man, no worries. I know you wanted to prevent any confusion. This hood took me forever to find becuase I hate the 98-02 SS hood look, but wanted the functional LS1 intake setup. Thanks for trying to help though!
