The buton doesnt matter. Your stock gear size will determine the series. This is for a 3 series. You may already have 3.73. I know the 93 camaro came stock with the ratio.

^100% sure they didnt come stock with 3.73's. You have 3.23's or 2.73's. Probably 3.23's

do some reasearch, call a dealer

Some did, some didnt. Alot of guys buy 93 rears for the gearing. as far as I know only the 93 came with it. not the 94 so I told him to check.

I've done plenty of research about 93's and like the poster above me said only 3.23's and 2.73's. The gearing is slightly different because of the transmission though, but the overall gears were never 3.73's.

I can send you a link on the information if you'd like, just PM me. I don't want to hijack this thread anymore.

you are fighting a losing battle bud. A4's came with 2:73's and 3:23 and the M6 came with 3:42's.

Also Chevrolet did allow 50 IROC Camaro's in 86' to have the 220HP L98 350! just looked it up

^Geez man just think about it for a second. All info aside, do you really think GM would put that low of a gear (3.73) stock on a V8 car? No way!

Turns out it was a $700 DEALER option ONLY available in 93. They NEVER came from GM's with 3.73's.

Yes, if you have a 3.08 or lower gear, it is series 2.
If you have anything above a 3.08, like 3.23s then you are series three. It will fit.
