Default Pics of the new ride

Well I've always wanted a blower car, and while a vette would be my first choice I have a 2 year old. I had the SS for two years and drove it about 800 miles. While on a sunny day with no traffic it was an amazing car, any other time......

So I picked up a low mile 03 cobra. Its got lots of mods (500 dynojet to the wheels before lower pulley) that took me awhile to figure out what they meant. But basically its setup for a Whipple which I may pick up this winter. Hopefully I can still hang out here, I don't really fit in on the Ford forums

I have to get rid of some of the billet interior stuff and the gas door

But here it is:

Congrats Bobby. I was wondering when you were going to post about this. Probably too afraid of all the crap about to be slung your way.

Sorry to see you go to a second rate car.

Just here to help out.

Now I will have to antagonize you and Mike to race. That would suck for you to get beat by your old engine.

I think Mikes car would destroy the Cobra. Close to the same power but 500 pounds less??? It wouldn't be much of a race...

It sure looks alot better all cleaned up. When are the new wheels on the way? Post up some pics of the ones you're thinking about and we'll all take a poll on which ones we like hahahaha....

As for my car, I think it'd be a closer race than you think. The black car goes in for an alignment on Saturday. I hope the noise in the rearend doesn't prevent me from getting there lol....

That is also my next purchase. Since this state I'm in is so lopsided with Stangs, I'd have a LOT more tech support if I just crossed over. Just after work today I got to get a ride in my neighbors Fox.....got to see what 351ci of forged metal, 12 lbs of boost, and a shot of N20 on a trans brake w/ slicks feels like. It was a wheel standing experience indeed, even on some ratty old pavement. It was one of those, clinched-teeth-grabbing-whatever-I-could-hold-onto-for-dear-life moments, finished with a resounding, gutteral, "OHHHH-YEAAAHHH!!!"

God, 6 more months until the wife is done w/ school....again...hurry up already!

The cobra is OK, I think the Z06 is a much better car, or even a well done supercharged F-body is probably a better car.

The Cobra definately gets more attention though..

Looks like a nice clean car, congrats! Whats the modlist on it? As for not fitting in to mustang forums have you been to www.Svtperformance.com or www.Modularfords.com yet?

Thanks, its pretty clean but I have a few things to work out. There are some billet items I really don't care for and I think it needs to be tuned according to the previous owner its only running like 17-18 degrees timing which seems low.

Mods

Stage IV Ported Blower
2.93 upper
4lb Lower
JLT intake
60# injectors
KB BAP
Dual HE
Bassani exhast and offroad Xpipe
Centerforce DF
MGW clutch
Eibach springs
Idlers
Tuned by Amazon

I think thats about it. Pretty average Cobra. I asked a few questions on SVTperformance and got some interesting responses.

Sounds like a nicely modded car, does it have a MAF upgrade? 17-18* is low, you could easily do 22-23* with that combo if you have 93 octane. What username did you have on SVTP?
