Oh, and Mike, I was at Woodburn last weekend for the drags, and I'm sure I heard that they're going to have a separate class for manual trans cars, you're gonna have to go show them what's what

Hmmmm, was it a heads-up class or bracket racing? Might have to look into it.

Yeah, it makes it much easier and get's a very complete bleed of the air. I'm not sure what's going on though. I'm sure it's completely bled out, even put the Mighty Vac to the top of the resovoir last night and let it sit with 27" of vacuum over night. She still turns the rear tires with the clutch depressed while in gear and on jack stands and a slight rev. I think it's time for a Tick MC.... This is why I was missing so many shifts earlier this season.

I'm not entirely sure, I'm under the impression that it's bracket racing, and a points series for woodburn.

I'm curious about what fixes it also. I spent for-freakin-ever bleeding my clutch, and it was still wanting to roll out at high rpms. I never made the slicks work because I couldn't get the revs up. Also was hard to shift, and was impossible to power shift. I've got a new g-force t5 trans now, going to get a new slave (going to be stuck with stock, can't find a performance one), and I heard there's something called a drill mod I can do on the line. It should have the same master cyl. as an lt1, the slave is different though.

yeah basically the drill mod is a given even if you have a stock rig. Basically there is a restriction that slows the fluid down in the line gm thought this would be good to reduce shock on the transmission and drive-train from people that didn't know how to drive these cars but in actuality it causes some problems, if you have ever herd of people complaining about their pedal sticking to the floor under hard shifting, it can be traced back to this problem you force and try to shift more fluid faster than the can clutch supply due to the restriction when that high of demand and clamping force is needed..BMW did the same thing only they installed a inline removeable restriction. Me and my buddy took it out of his E36 M3 and simply threaded the two halves back on and bam the pedal engagement and shifting is 10 times faster and smoother.. the restriction i herd from the gm teacher at school is actually upward of 50% of the total diameter...soo i can only imagine the difference. I wonder if it would solve the problems? for sure clutch response should be better and more fluid. and i think 01 and newer f bodys had this restriction already removed from factory because of these problems.

Ha!

So I might be putting the Bird up for sale if something goes in my favor today. One of the tenants at my property owns a 2002 Black Z06 bone stock other then a aftermarket CAI and upgraded gun metal wheels. He bought it new from the Chevy dealership in Sandy Or. Currently has 21K on it. We got to talking yesterday and he's looking to sell it to put the money towards a new Mustang 5.0 so his kids can ride in the back

You have a beautiful WS6 bro, but if you do get the Z06 that would be cool. Were still racing though!

Your car is sweet, very clean, but you gotta love the zo6. Did he say anything about price, I have noticed that you can get some for pretty reasonable lately.
