Good news Mike - Doesn't look like any damage to the crank. All but 2 bearings looked good, but the crank doesn't have any damage.

Great to hear that. I was talking to a guy yesterday about Duramax injectors. He was saying that the early ones had problems with them cracking and injecting diesel fuel into the crankcase. I'm wondering if maybe one of yours is cracked? I also talked to Erik at Vulcan and he doesn't do anything with the Duramax injectors.

Correct the LB7 injectors have the problems, 01-04.
04.5-and up don't have that issue

Yes I know the LB7 had issues. I know for fact tho this one had a broken return line and that is where all the diesel in the oil came from. But I'm still going to have them cleaned, flow tested, and inspected to be safe.

Hey I sold a clutch to a guy in vancouver that has like 5 duramax projects. I can give you his number if you want, I am sure he has some parts laying around and some good advice. oh and he had one lsx truck project

That guy got ahold of me through my craigslist ad for the T56. He wants me to rebuild his T56 for a GTO. I was talking to him quite a bit through email and already gave his contact info to Cody. Small world... heh heh....
