It wasn't in Newberg, thankfully. I appreciate your concern for my family and myself. I can't believe it happened so close though.

That was crazy seeing the damage on the news last night. I didn't think it was that severe until I saw the damages. I thought it just another hyped-up news media thing like the dust-twister at the Walmart a couple years ago.

Glad you and your family are ok Brandon.

Hey guys havent been on here in forever...

My car has made a lot of progress lately and hopefully will get the swap finished this winter

So i havent really looked around yet but i am getting to the stage where i will need to get my computer flashed and tuned. Are there any shops you all promote? I would prefer getting something like an HPtuner?? Any suggestions on software? Would anyone like to sell me theirs? Just checking out the possible options beforehand.

Thanks
Karl

TJ Wong (Wongs Performance Engineering) in Vancouver is who to use. As for programs, HP Tuners is good, but my suggestion would be EFI Live. Wong can work on either.

Haha i knoww man. I am kind of a recluse on ls1tech just learning as much as possible and only posting when need be.

Truthfully i have seen your car alot lately lol. If you ever see a blue/white 97 f350 flatbed around town its probably me.

Ohh ya this summer it will be running for sure. My goal is before spring break.

Alright cool. I literally have no knowledge of HPtuners or EFI live except what their purpose was for, and after researching them i felt a little overwhelmed so i kinda want to have a pro do it for me. Maybe when i have more time to learn i will get one and play around with it, but not now lol.

(Sorry guys i dont know how to multi-quote)

I believe he gets 450 for a complete tune.

Nice build you got there. How far along with the 408 swap are you? Looks like Brandon isn't going to be the only 408 in the group anymore.

Open up two browser applications and use one for copying, use the other for pasting/posting.

Oh i gotta update my sig lol. The 408 got put on hold because i want to do it right, and my budget doesnt allow that. So I got an LS1 that had bad piston rings and will put that in first and than work on the LQ9 as a side project.

The LS1 will be equipped with a larger cam (still deciding, but around ms3 size) LS6 intake, and headers. I got to the point where i just want it running and have a car that gets better than 10-12 mpg lol
