yes i know. but tim wants to do it on street tires.
i guess i have shitty street tires cuz no matter what launch technique i use with them they just spin or i have to give it waaaay to little gas to even get goin. and this is running 20lbs of air(running proxes-4). my best times on street tires ever was 12.94@111 with 2.1 60 ft. maybe if it was a nice sticky track i spose it would be better

It's not just about popping the clutch it's slowly letting it out to a certent point and then releasing it all the way. You can rev your to 6k and take off like a bat at of hell, you'll fry your clutch after a few times but you'll still get that 60ft.. If I'm wrong then I don't know how they do it.

#1-you will not be able to give the car hardly any gas, your 60 ft will suck trying to ease off the line
#2-give it anymore throttle than in example #1 you will spin the tires
either way, your not gonna get some crazy launch like you would on drs or slicks. a car has to have sticky tires to get that power to the ground period!
no stickys=NO LAUNCH
hooking is hooking, if the car hooks on a high rpm launch, if it doesnt bog, if it doesnt stutter than that is a perfet launch and perfect launch=couldnt have been done any better. after the launch there is nothin you can do to improve your time other than getting all your shifts on the money. that is all there is, holding your breath wont help your times, driving with one eye closed wont help it either.
thats all im spent lol
