I've see those on the Discovery Channel Tyler. Pretty bad ***...although the ones on TV were insane fast. Probably because they were prototypes. Either way, it would be cool to test drive one...I wonder if I could do a transformation on my Bird????

There was one day at PIR last year that had 5-6 of those electric cars out there. One had slicks and the car was so quiet you could hear the slicks paddling down the track, it sounded really funny. Flap, flap flap flap flap.....

Well,,,,, I won't be running at PIR tomorrow. Got the car back on the dyno and something is wrong with the engine. Not sure what yet but it was down about 90rwhp from previously and two cylinders aren't holding compression. I think I injured the engine when I took it to PIR about 6 weeks ago with the old fuel pump.....

Sorry to hear about this Mike.

As for the electric, there is an electric motorcycle from Oregon City or Canby that runs 8's in the 1/4 at PIR. Just like Mike said, wierd to hear the slicks slap the pavement.

That is to bad Mike. Do you really think it was that lean? How did the A/F look on the dyno?

The afr looked ok on the dyno, but that was only one gear. At the track the pump is being taxed through four gears for a longer period of time. Not positive if the pump is responsible or not, but it could have been long enough to burn a valve or two. It's all speculation at this point until I can tear into it.

I'll be at PIR tonight but I'll be a spectator,,,,, again.

Yea I saw those electric cars there also, they are pretty cool to see run, deff different like you guys said, it so quiet only hear the slicks. I saw them the year before too and Speed Channel was there recording something about the fastest electric cars.

Mike that is to bad to hear about your motor, hopefully it is nothing to bad and you can get it up and running without to much expense.

Congrats on the new PB. What was your 60' on that run? Are these still NA runs or have you been spraying it yet?

O-no I dont have the HP NA to do that time... the 60' was a 1.7 .. I am not leaving the line on spray yet and I am only hitin a 75 shot in first right now and I am not spraying through the shifts yet, but on a night with a little better air I might try a 150 shot off the line through the shifts take out some weight and see what it does..

Nice, it should really pick up once you start spraying on the line as long as you can hook. Very nice times next time I make it to the track and you are there I will have to check our car out more closely. Seemed like a really clean nicely set up car the night I saw it.

Conceivably yes, you could do that. But, the damage is already done, whatever it is. Plus, I've already upgraded the pump and the injectors. The afr and fuel pressure all looked good on this last dyno session. The graph didn't look so hot though.....
