Well, I wasn't "banned" from the track. I was told to go check in with tech when they pulled me out of the staging area. I didn't go check in with tech but instead just went home for the night because I thought they were going to kick me off. What I didn't know was that after you run quicker than 11.50 without a rollbar and the other safety stuff, was that they make you sign a waiver saying you won't run that fast again. If you sign the waiver, then run quicker than 11.50 again, they kick you off the track for the rest of the season and inform the other tracks in the area about you. I didn't know all that until I spoke with the track manager a couple weeks after the fact. It's all good, I'll be legal to run anywhere in another 3-4 days.

I don't have a rollcage, lol....

I'll post up some pics in a new thread as soon as they're done uploading to photobucket. With the crossbrace installed, it pretty much renders the back seat useless, like it wasn't useless from the factory anyway.

Uuum I watched the drags live last night on their website and the commentator said they are not having late night drags the next two weekends?? I could be wrong but im 99% sure thats what he said.

Hey Mike, I just checked PIRs site and they are runnin friday the 28th but not on saturday. If you're goin, let me know, maybe I'll run my squeeze and get kicked out too. Gotta put a new torque arm bushing in though this week. Car decided to puke it out drivin down the road. That makes a hell of racket let me tell ya. See ya.

I was talking with some other PIR racers this weekend, and this upcoming weekend is a big bracket race during the day on Saturday at PIR (1/8 mile racing) but they all were saying that the track will be open for late nights on Friday. The best way is to check their schedule on their website. If it is on the schedule, then they most likely will be running.

Yeah I'll be there too . If there was any confusion PIR is hosting the final two events of the NW National Open series this weekend. We will still have Late Night drags on Friday only as normally scheduled. That means no Late Night drags on Saturday. For details on the National Open click here.

Good deal man. It's still looking like I'll be making it on Friday. I got most of the rollbar installed and I should finish that up on Weds and get the 5 point harness installed.

Not making the show. It's too far and I have too many things to get finished on the car.

Well ****,,,,, the forecast is calling for possible thunder showers tonight. I'm going to play it by ear and see what it looks like this afternoon but I might not make it to PIR. Sucks because I've been busting *** for the last 10 days getting the car track worthy. Saturday is no good because the Nationals are going on at PIR and Woodburn is having bracket racing that day.

Well, no racing for me again this weekend. PIR isn't having late night drags at all this coming weekend, and Woodburn is hosting some huge bracket racing event. Could go to that, but there's gonna be an assload of racers which means very little run time, plus it's eliminations. Not exactly what I'd like to do with as many changes as I made to the car.

SOOOOO,,,,, looking like September 11th at PIR is the next late night drags. Weather permitting, I will be there. Anyone else plan on going? Summer is rapidly coming to an end folks...... Get your racing fix while you still can lol....
