The City of Portland is hardcore about the no front plate thing. Kerry has gotten 3 tickets in her Z4 because of not having one.

i got pulled over in a roadblock in downtown Portland on mardi gras 2 or 3 years ago (i just wanted to see some tiddays) and they gave me a ticket for no front plate. The officer told me to install the plate and take a pic to show the judge. I did so and got off but the judge told me if i get caught again, i'll have to pay the fine.

Here's the pic i showed the judge, **** was held on by zip ties lol!

You know you can have your plate in the windshield right? It looks kind of bad but it's legal. It has to be on the passenger side and your tags have to be showing. I got pulled over with no plate ( cause I was lazy and didn't put it back up ) an the cop said I couldn't have it up there. So I told her I have the law right here on my phone stating that there is nothing saying you can't have it there. She looked it up an said I don't agree with it. But she did give me a ticket for not displaying it. I lost my ticket and called every court around the Salem metro area and nobody ha me on file.

Nah, I went to court and showed the judge the pic in my camera.

I just put the plate on there for the pix, took it right off after court and put my Slp grill back on. Yea I'm a lurker, that's all I do at work all day, ls1tech, Craigslist, speedhunters, xvideos, and Wikipedia. Lol.

i got ticketed for no plate up in bellingham a few years ago, so anyway i havnt been around much lately due to work and such. but trying to get my long broke down car running next month when i get some time off..anything new and exciting been going on around here?
