So how do those heads perform tho? I imagine pretty well based on the price

It would depend what you mean by "perform". For a drag racing application, one of the top 2 or 3 heads on the market for LS engines.

Probably wouldn't work well on a stock cubic inch LS1.

I think you need a 4.125" bore to use.

So I know my car has a smoking issue. So I replaced the spark plugs and found that the second to last one on the passenger said had oil all over it. What I'm asking is, is that due to a bad valve seat or something else?

id say bad rings...thats my best guess. i dont know if you stated it in another post, but how much HP you going for in your new build?

I was thinking that also. But I'm leaning towards bad valve..lol..
I got someone taking my LS1 off my hands and I'll talk to him about it also.
How much HP, with all motor it should be around 490whp and with the 250shot, well you add the math.
There is a guy with the same set up as me but with a fast 92/92 and the same cam and prc's 2.5 5.3 heads and he put down 500whp with a 9" and a steal drive shaft. So I'm just hoping for 490 all motor.

i was thinking it should make around 500rwhp give or take ten. what heads you goin with?

I'm trying to see if I can send my heads into AI. I would make more with some AFR's but I don't have 2G's to spend on them. So we will see.

thats probly the next best thing, maybe later down the road you can pick up a set of AFR's or something.

Had 2 earlier 4th gens go by me on hgwy 26 within the last week. Both TAs, one a 97 ws6. No look, no honk, no wave. Wtf?! Must be my quarter panel.
