im not sorry lol. if i was in the market for another f body tho, i would def pick up your bird. id def go the TA route if i picked up another f bod and yours is top notch for low mileage and condition. i will be spending my cash on a motor....possibly this year. as you know i cant decide on what motor im going with but it will be badass for sure. i have the funds to build any motor i want. this is why im having a hard time picking one out lol.
if i stay na it will be between 402-440(or if i went boost for that matter). hell im gonna stop myself right there, you guys have heard all this before from me lol.

i tell ya guys what ill let you guys know what im building after i have the damn motor and its in my car lol. ill just get the damn thing running for now, hows that sound to everyone?? lol

If you go cubes then get a LSX tall deck and build from there... Just ran into a guy today with a 60 something Camaro and he had a old school 454 that got pulled out of a tractor pulling truck and he dropped it down below 12.5-1 cr and made 600hp... It had the 67 Shelby gt500 rims from gone in 60 seconds the new movie... And it sounded sooooooo bad asssss!!!

that sounds like a badass car with an even badder motor! if i go cubes ill build a 440 with a 4" stroke or like you said with the talldeck if i built a 454. im not positive on this but i would think that the tall deck would have enough cylinder depth for the 4.25 stroke and not have the oil consumption issues. if i had an older car id def go big block. the BBC454 is a much more versatile platform than the LSX IMHO. however an LSX427 would be an excellent candidate for some wicked boost, hell just an na 427 would be wicked enough lol

honesetly, i think a forged 370 would probly be the perfect boost motor for guys like you and I. its inexpensive so it would be easier to afford a boost setup. and its strong so one could boost the **** out of it.

serious? i have never heard of that. must have some serious boost goin on. the reason i would rather boost a 408 is cuz you dont have to run some crazy amount of boost to get that 900-1000 rwhp

im liking the CETA mod todd, looks damn good. im trying t figure out if i wana do a berger panel and a manta stripe. id like to do both in charcoal. also i may paint the spokes on my TT2s but keep the polished lip. what are your thoughts on that todd?

on another note. im gonna sceduale some time with tom in about a month and figure out whats up with my pile. then maybe i can start doing a new build...we will see

it's good todd! i have done a few of the little mod's that i wanted to do on it recently, the C6 style billet gauge bezels, made a different shift **** for it, again, put the TSP LT's on it, along with switching out the corsa mufflers for OEM Z06 Ti's, ported TB, etc.. working on a set of ported 243's for it, and i bought s cheaTR cam for it. just little tinkering here and there!

i'm actually in the mood for a differenet set of wheels for it. i'm considering doing the unthinkable... selling the Fikse FM5's that are on it for a set of 18x9.5/18X10.5 OE wheels C5DD's in all gloss black. but who knows!

I just put some 18x10.5 C5 DD on my Bird. Those would look sweet on your Vette although your current wheels already look sick.
