If they total it, he won't own them - the insurance company will.

Let me know if they do total it, I may want to buy it from them.

If/When they total it, I plan to sell the car as a whole to the highest bidder above what I can buy it back for.

Need some $$$ toward taxes/down payment on another car.

Are you going to be in the market for another SS?

I might have to put mine up for sale in order to close on a house.

2002 SS
67k miles
only mods are cags, cold air intake, slp lm2.
been my daily driver, and runs great.
10k

Let me know if you are interested.

I know you are probibly already tired of the voltures drooling over possibly parts on your car.

But!!!

Hey if you don't get a chance to sell your car as it sits, and you have to part it out. There are a few things I would be really happy to take off your hands, So that I can get my burnt SS back on the road.

Just keep me in mind, if you decide to part out. K?

If I get another SS it would need to already be built. Cam, possibly heads, and upgraded rearend.

I'll keep yours in mind though.

I'll give you a heads up if that's the route I go.

The issue is I don't have anywhere to store it really, and I have no tools to work with. I've always shot up to my Dad's and used his tools. So the best situation for me would be to just sell it as a whole.

I'm sure Don (NWDragRacer) would be first in line to buy it back before the bank keeps it.

Parting it out would probably bring in more than enough for another vehicle if you can swing it at all, it's getting hard to find parts each year especially interior and body panels.

Good luck

Yeah, if I had somewhere to put it and the time to part it out then I'd be all over it, but I don't unfortunately.

If it's totaled, it will go to the highest bidder.

UPDATE:

Damage has been listed at $11,500 which is beyond the damage threshold for repair.

My insurance company has been notified, and they will be out to confirm either today or Monday.

According to the repair shop owner, it sounds like it's gonna go my way and get totaled, but not 100% sure yet.
