Default local tunning

is there any one you guys recommend for tunning in the seattle area?
i have a 98 ls1 m6 camaro that needs a tune to take advantage of my
mods and to delete some things out of the commputer.how is trifecta perf?
thinking of using vince due to price and i can get a base tune mail order.
is there any local tunners that use hp tunners or ls1 edit?
thanks joe

Don't do a mail-order tune; it's an iterative process and you will leave not only some power but probably some fuel mileage on the table if you go mail-order. There are plenty of people locally who know how to tune your car. I'd also suggest getting some of Ellis' time or any capable tuner to do it right.

You need to look at the system Vince employs before you say that. It isnt the normal send me your pc mail order tune. Also he is local as well.

Trifecta Performance has also developed a product, called the GT Tuner (see below), which allows car enthusiasts to perform their own PCM programming, quickly, safely and easily.

Trifecta Performance specializes in delivering custom powertrain control module (PCM) programming to the high performance community. Trifecta Performance offers both local “dyno” tuning services in the Seattle, WA area , as well as mail-order custom PCM programming services.

Now that's not to say there is anything wrong with the others, but you don't have the facts right about Trifecta.

im not expecting to gain alot of power im mostly stock but after to day at
the track i need some tunning plus new front o2 sensors.car feels like its lacking in the top end then again im comparing it to my friends old 02m6.
90 percent of my problems are my o2 sensors but i feel that my car throwing rear o2 codes (due to no rear o2s installed cause ory)and from removing my egr are causing some very minor problems plus it feels like it needs more timming up top.will see im trying to do as many things on the cheap since im having a kid in 8 months so i can save even more money.i will check into the
guy in monroe.whats the name of the shop?
thanks joe

Didn't mean to generalize and I was not speaking specifically of any tuner. If Trifecta is local then it is certainly worth considering. I think Ellis calls his shop Speed Secrets EFI.

Trifecta messed up on several freinds tunes. I had to put one back to stock and it ran better stock than with the tune. I would go to TJ Wong in Vancouver, or Ellis

Vince @ Trifecta did both my street tune and dyno tune. I personally had a great experience with him, and will continue to do business with him.

I highly recommend horsepower ranch in Hobart. Go to WWW.horsepowerranch.com The guy is a wiz at tuning and has good prices. I've taken my racecar there twice and plan on taking my 95 M6 there as soon as I get a clutch.

I think I paid around $300. When Vince was done with it on the dyno I drove home with over 150rwhp more then I started with. Best $300 bucks I have ever spent on a car.

TJWong is a sponsor here & is in Vancouver WA....Tom knows his ****! Ellis isn't sponsor & is up north in Monroe & also knows his ****. As do the guys at Turbo Tech....tell whoever you go to that you have a 98. Weird PCMs that some places can't / won't do.

I've used Vince, I really like that he's local, I've had a few things I wanted changed after he tuned my car, just preference type stuff I would just meet up with him while he was out tuning and have him make the changes and be on my way.

Down at Drift Office I watched Vince tune a 98 A4 almost stock and pick up a big chunk of hp and tq, I won't quote the numbers because I don't want to make a mistake on the final numbers. Watched about 5 cars on the dyno that day. Shoot Vince a email.
