This Is Interesting
I would HIGHLY recomend this painter - VERY inexspensive and great work!

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Unreal stretch of road starting at the police station until getting to Astoria.
Tore my car up until I installed all the BMR and QA1 suspension!
Best stretch of challenging yet safe (no one there but Logging trucks) highway I have ever seen.
No potholes but very tricky with lots and lots of broken up road and sinkholes.
Tight,Tight hairpins followed by straightaway's then some very technical stuff.
I've run it eight or ten times now (ALWAYS JUST BELOW SPEED LIMIT)
That road was the inspiration for my car.

Sounds like we need to make this a cruise
Looking forward to getting involved with the racers up here.
Ditto for me (Welcome); Hopefully we will all get together soon and run these bad boys down the 1320!
Mike contacted me yesterday and wanted to know if my car was black and if that was my van parked across the street from his house (Understandable concern's over build Piracy and such).
After assuring him my motor is actually not an LS1 but an LS6 and that I run an ENTIRELY different brand of synthetic transmission oil than he, Mike relaxed a bit and turned out to be a pretty cool guy.
Nonsense aside- My name is Steve and I am addicted to horsepower!
I am responsible for the Craigslist ad (Trade contractor work for Fab work)
Seemed like a crazy idea but I got alot of response from running that ad only 1 week.

Hitting 10's N/A on a stock shortblock with a 6sp is going to be challenging to say the least. If you make it, you'll be among the "elite", because there's not too many who have achieved it.
Looking forward to meeting you sometime and keep us update on your progess.

First order of the day will be to KEEP IT LIGHT, REAL LIGHT!
2800 lbs. Max
2nd order will be gettin it to the ground and makin it stick
"Minimize Parastitic Loss and set up chassis to hook"
Will require a set of big'n littles with slicks (I dont expect 10's with street shoe's)
My interior is completely gutted, I will not be running ANYTHING that is not absolutely necesary. No heater core, No power steering, etc.
With some spendy head work and a Mezziere ELP, I expect 480 at the rear wheels with the T-56 and the current POS 10 bolt.
Later this summer I will to be on a quest for a 9 in. rear end.
Hate the 9's P-Loss though - Would sure like a better answer there.

As for the 9", it's a necessary evil. Anything else is either too heavy or just not a good option for a stick car. I'd recomend getting your gears setup local though. If you have Moser set them up, you'll regret it, they're horrible. I can do them, or a good gear specialist around town would be a much better option.
Here's some reading on my car if you're interested or bored lol...
