Exclamation I need an Engine, will Trade an AR-15 for one

Hey everyone, I am in need of an Engine for my 1998 Camaro z28. I bought it last July with a nice loud rod knock, expecting to replace the motor and enjoy. Well the economy got to me and I was laid off from my teaching Job. I am hoping to go back to work next year, but would ove to get the Camaro up and running. I have a brand new never fired AR-15 I would love to trade for an LS1 motor.

Here is a pic of the Gun. Let me know if you are interested.

Todd

lol I used to own an AK-47, after owning AR-15's I will never go back. The AR is way more accurate. Both are fun to shoot though.

I went the opposite. Sold my AR-15's (which were both accurate as heck and fun to shoot and started collecting AK's) reliability and maintenance on the other hand are the AR's downfall. AK = reliable in all Conditions and Maintenance....well not really much to do other then run a bore snake down them once and a while. They do what they were built for, going bang 99.9% of the time. I can still hit a target dead on at 100+ yards with it too

True, but I don't plan to shoot mine submerged or in the mud. Don't get me wrong the AK is a great platform with a larger caliber and knock down power then a .223 or a .556. With a chrome lined bore and chamber the AR cleans up real nice. Thats whats great about the U.S. having so many choices. If you ever get down my way we can go shooting.

I would be interested in either. I would prefer a long block, but would not hesitate to trade for the right short block.

You as well. We've got some real nice spots our way. Sure you do as well! Cheers and good luck with the sale/swap.

P.S. You should at some point want to dive head first into some mud or sand and let loose the AR. Tactical training bro

How is that? Two completely different rifles. A military buddy of mine that's overseas tells me of how the local kids run around with fully auto AK's and how they are just laying around the streets. Crazy. It would be nuts to see children in the states walking around with these.

So true about the kids and AK's also the barrett is 5 times as expensive as an AK.

I love how the spotter traced the round and point of impact on the first missed shot. The second shot that hit the guys backpack was classic and then he just stops and looks around like, someone's shooting at me...oh well. His 3rd shot, well we both saw the blood and body parts splattered everywhere
