Like the title says. I've decided to sell my GMMG and go with a set of custom duals but I need someone, or a shop that can weld stainless steel. Anyone have a recommendation or idea? Thanks.

Stainless welds fine with mild steel, but the welds rust.

You don't mention where you are located.

So you're looking to weld up stainless exhaust? If so they make stainless wire for MIG machines, just gotta run a 90/10 or 80/20 mix on the gas. Anyone who can weld with a MIG can use the stainless wire. Most custom exhaust shops should be able to handle that I would think. Just make sure they back-gas it.

If you don't mind a drive, I know of a really good place in Oregon City. My friend had his entire turbo setup made from scratch in stainless...its a twin turbo twin intercoolered big block dodge with a cross over dual quad EFI setup (In an old 50's rat rod truck). The piping looks like a work of art

Just buy a spool of 306SS wire and take to the muffler shop, and have them use it.

If you're going with stainless, better to have it all tig purge welded. That's the way I went. Just make sure to find someone who will take the time to make sure that nothing shrinks or "pulls" during the welding process.
