Default Took the Z28 in to Shaun @ S&M

Well, I went ahead and left the Z28 with Shaun over at S&M in Everett... getting the poly motor mounts installed, fixing the leak in the timing cover, fixing the leak and whine in the 12 bolt, ripping out the AIR pump, and installing my TSP catted y-pipe.

Man, is it ever tough to leave your car behind to get work done on it... my car has pretty much had all of it's installs done in my own garage, so it's tough to let someone else work on my baby.

But hey, I know Shaun's gonna get everything working great... He wants me to have the machine shop there port and polish the heads on my car and install a nitrous kit. If he's not careful I may take him up on that after I get a new clutch installed.

It will be okay.

After reading your post I realized I've never ridden in a car with Nitrous.

YES!

Shaun stikes me as a good guy. I'm sure your baby will be just fine Jason. But like you, since it's the first time, I'd be nervous too.

Yeah I'm sure it will be... this was the first time I'd met Shaun and he was very cool and really seems to know his stuff. Outside of you guys that I know on this board, there wouldn't be many people I'd feel comfortable with working on the car... but Shaun definitely strikes me as a good guy who will do solid work.

Neither have I! But I have a feeling if I were to go for a ride in one, that would make me go out right away and spend the money for some giggle juice...

Wow I got offers for four rides, how do I get them scheduled?

I really do want to hook up with one of you and take a ride on juice.

Ahhhhh ha!

So that was your Z I saw down there yesterday!

Shaun said it was a Board Member.

You have nothing to worry about man... Your car will be much happier after Shaun waves his magical wand over it.

Did you see the Mustang, C5, and Firebird in there? Shaun is doing something with thye IRS on the C5, Building 650+ motors for stang and Bird.

Should be fun!

Yep, that would be mine... After talking with Shaun, I have full confidence in him for sure, so I'm not worried. In fact, after this round of minor stuff, I'll probably have him go ahead and do my clutch install, and maybe have the machine shop port my heads and add a little juice before racing season starts again.

I did see the cars he's working on... very impressive stuff! I know the C5 is getting a re-built A4, and it looked like some IRS work, plus he was saying a blower motor for the Ford.
